Mutton Gravy | Mutton Kuzhambu Mom's Signature Recipe


I rarely make mutton recipes but my father once in a while take mutton alone. Aged persons prefer masala less n coconut less gravy, so my Mom usually make the gravy simple without adding any whole garam masala/coconut to it. Simple yet delicious kulambu to try, I made a small variation by adding coconut to thicken the gravy, here is her recipe in detail...

Mutton - 1 Lb or around 1/2 kg
Shallot or Onion - 20 or 2 Numbers

Vanilla Custard Ice Cream with Fresh Cherries and Hint of Chocolate | All from Scratch

Egg less Salad Sauce | Homemade Ranch | Salad Dressing | Multi Purpose Dip Recipe

I never thought making ranch at home unless the reader Gowry requested the eggless salad sauce recipe in face book fan page. This best egg free salad dressing works great as plain dip for tortilla chips n other fries....When refrigerated, the cream cheese thickens the sauce and my daughter enjoyed it as a spread for dinner rolls and breads :-). Thengai Sudum Pandigai | தலை ஆடி பண்டிகை | Coconut Aadi Festival | Thengai Suduthal

Today I am here with one of the traditional Tamilar festival recipe. Many of you may not aware of it, though it is particularly celebrated on banks of rivers. Today is Aadi 1, the first day of tamil month Aadi. People worship water in the form of wells, tanks, Dam and rivers today as well as on Aadi 18 (Aadi Perukku).  Especially the newly wedded couples celebrate it by taking bath in rivers, wearing new clothes, Apply turmeric to Maangalyam/Thaali and wear new Yellow Thread on that day.

Orange Glow Chiffon Cake | Orange Sponge Cake Recipe

For this month baking partners challenge, Humi suggested Russian Honey Cake and Saraswathi suggested Lemon Glow Chiffon Cake recipe. As my H doesn’t like cream in the cakes, I preferred this chiffon cake for his Birthday. I made this cake and dusted with sugar and sprinkled some zest over it. This is the perfect cake for cream dis likers, it’s a very soft and moist sponge cake with Orange/Lemon, the only technique to follow

Sweet Methu Vada | South Indian Lentil Donuts | Inippu Ulunthu Vadai | உளுந்து கச்சாயம்

Today I am here with popular Kongu recipe, sweet urad dhal vada/kachayam. Here I have shown the stone grinding method, you can use electric wet grinder to do the same. I have uploaded a short video how to grind using stone mortar and pestle and to make holes for vada, so take a look before trying this recipe.
