Tomato Sevai | Thakkali Sandhagai | Tomato Idiyappam Recipe

Thakkali Sandhagai / Tomato Sevai is very popular in Kongu Cuisine. I have mentioned a story about idiyappam/sevai in Authentic Sandhagai Recipe. Also refer the same recipe to make idiyappam/Nool puttu. Once the Idiyappam/white sevai is done you have to add sprinkle few drops oil to it and split them apart, keep aside till you get ready with the tomato masala. Weekly Saturday is most probably the vegetarian lunch at home and on that day either I make puli kulambu or rasam (one dish with tamarind) and coming to dal, daily one dal variety is must at home and on special days or on weekend either uppu paruppu or paruppu keerai (something close to uppu paruppu but with spinach in it) is a mandatory dish I make it without fail.
