Chocolate Crinkle Cookies | Christmas Holiday Cookies

There are lots of Christmas events happening around us. This year I am baking more cookies for several reasons, one main reason is homemade cookie exchange among Teachers happening at my daughter class this week☺. So among few cookies that I have baked, the crinkle cookies is one among it. These cookies are so chocolaty and unlike other baking these has to be out from the oven when the center looks little raw and soft. That's how it will become soft and not dried so much when it cooled completely.

Khaliat al Nahal (known by many as Khaliat Nahal) simply means Bee's Hive. The name is due to the bread's resemblance to a honeycomb and for the sweet honey-flavored glaze it use after the bread is out from oven. Also the traditional Honeycomb buns/Beehive Bread  usually filled with cheese and

Gibassier | Traditional French Bread

The Gibassier(pronounced zee-bah-see-ay) from the Provence region is a buttery textured French breakfast bread that is flavoured with candied orange peel, orange blossom water and aniseed, and topped with a sprinkling of plain or vanilla sugar. The Gibassier is also the name for large cookie from Lourmarin in particular that’s about a foot long, is made with olive oil and oval shaped like a leaf. It is shaped somewhat the way one shapes a fougasse and delightfully soft and delicious. Gibassier can be shaped and made as one big round loaf, or larger or smaller single serve breads. Whatever size they come in, they are slashed/ snipped decoratively before they’re baked and this makes them even more irresistible. Gibassier is one of the

Bienenstich Kuchen | German Bee Sting Cake

Merry Christmas to all my dear Friends, Readers and Bloggers. Lets celebrate the holidays with Bienenstich Kuchen, also known as the German Bee Sting Cake. Bienenstich is not really a bread but a traditional German sweet yeasted cake that has a baked on topping of crunchy almond toffee-like layer and filled with a vanilla pastry cream. Yule Log Cake | Bûche de Noël (French) | Traditional Christmas Special Cake Recipe

The traditional Yule Log Cake/bûche is made from Sponge cake, usually baked in a Large Swiss roll pan, frosted and rolled to form a cylinder. Again frosted on the outside, Bûches are often served with a portion of one end of the cake cut off and set on top of the cake or protruding from its side to resemble a chopped off branch, and bark-like texture is often produced in the buttercream frosting for further realism. This is often done by dragging a fork through the frosting/icing. The most common combination is a basic yellow sponge cake, frosted and filled with chocolate buttercream. Today's recipe is very similar to traditional yule log except mushroom

Misal Pav with Homemade Pav Buns | Popular Street Food All From Scratch

The south Indian team are challenged with Misal Pav and North Indian team with Methu Vada for this month Divya's SNC. Thanks Meena  for giving the Misal pav recipe in detail. Misal pav is a Maharastrian street food popular countrywide which is very healthy n nutritiuos. Pav is a Maharastrian word which means small loaf bun and Misal means spicy curry made with any dried beans/Peas and masala. So Misal pav is the combo of Pav bun, Misal/Gravy/Curry garnished with Mixture/Savory and chopped onions/coriander leaves. You can use store bought Buns and fried Savory snack too, but I did everything at home the Pav buns/Mixture/Farsan/Curry etc. After all this work I really satisfied with the taste and my lil daughter enjoyed it much. She nowadays started saying "Yummy" when she really likes it and this recipe is one among it where I got appreciation from her :-).  I got 2 Sunshine awards from my blogger friends thanks Asiya n Yasodha for sharing those awards. Now we will move on to the challenged recipe :-).
