Savory Kongunad Soiyaan | South Indian Rice Batter Kachori | My Guest Post for Rendez Vous with a Foodie

October 20, 2013 By Sangeetha Priya 18 Comments

Today’s recipe is simple and delicious savory kongunad soiyaan and my mom makes this especially for dinner. These 3-4 soiyans (Kongunadu special) aka South Indian kachoris is more than enough for a person. This kachoris’ are made of rice batter and no needs fermentation, you can use mixie/blender to grind the batter. When added in hot oil it gives “soi” sound so we call it as Soiyan in our surroundings. I am not a frequent deep fry maker but once in a while I make it for dinner as Mom’s recipe are something special right .The best side for this fritters is spicy coconut chutney. Interesting recipe right, check the step by step pictorial for this recipe at Priya Suresh sister’s space also this guest post is about me, life and blogging 🙂

Whenever I publish a post, I eagerly wait for her comment n she never forgets to visit my blog with her true encouraging words, you can see her comments in most of blogger space. Such an enthu, humble, down to earth person, she is none other than Priya Suresh Sister. Our first virtual intro happened in Sangee’s space but I never thought that I would become her friend. I always admire her dedication towards blogging n she is a great inspiration for me. Keep rocking as always!!! And thank you so much Sis for this wonderful opportunity. This is the guest for her event Rendez Vous with a foodie happens monthly twice with newbie bloggers.
