Goat Lamb Mutton Liver Fry

Goat Lamb Mutton liver fry is too good for kids and obviously for adults. Once in a while i prepare this which has high source of iron.

Ingredients

Liver – 250 grams
Ginger Garlic Paste – 1tsp
Coriander Powder – 1tsp

Whole Pepper – 1tsp
Mutton Masala Powder/Red Chili Powder – 1tsp
Turmeric Powder – 1/4tsp
Onion – 1
Mustard- 1/4tsp
Cashew nuts – 1 Tbsp
Chana Dhal – 1tsp
Salt, Oil, Curry, Coriander Leaves & Water – As Needed

Method

Wash the liver and cut in to small pieces. Pressure cook the liver with coriander, turmeric powder, water and little salt for 1-2 whistles (Reduce the flame to medium or less than that after the first whistle).

In a kadai heat oil, splutter mustard seeds, add chana dhal fry till golden brown. Add chopped onion, curry leaves saute for few minutes then add ginger garlic paste, fry till nice aroma reaches then add mutton masala powder, coriander leaves and cooked liver with water. Cook in medium flame till all water gets evaporated.

Garnish with fried cashews.
Note:
In India the liver is soft so no need to pressure cook,  just saute for a while in pan, but what we get here in halal meat is not up to that (But taste wise there is no diff). Like colors of my pressure cooker and liver results in dull pictures :).
