Potato Pan Cakes Recipe

Spicy Potato Pan Cakes Recipe

Ingredients

Potato – 1 Number
Shredded Cheese – 1/4 Cup
Shredded Carrot/Cabbage – 1/4 Cup (Optional)
Chopped Onion & Bell Pepper – 1/4 Cup
Red Chili & Garam Masala Powder – 2tsp
Bread Crumbs – 2 Tbsp
Olive Oil for greasing the pan

Method

  • Boil the potatoes, remove the skin, mash well with no big lumps, Add the remaining items, mix well and make lemon size balls.
  • Press the center of the potato balls with your palms and rotate the corner to form round shape, do the same process for all the balls.
  • Heat the dosa pan between low to medium flame, grease oil,   and cook it for 5mins(don’t try to flip it immediately), flip it on the other side cook till golden brown, serve hot with tomato ketchup.
 

Note:
Cooking in high flame can burn the outer part with raw inner dough.
